Make a transparent PNG

Choose Transparent and PNG (the defaults), drop your image and download. PNG keeps the transparency; JPG doesn't support it, so JPG exports get a solid background instead.

Use transparent PNGs for logos, stickers, YouTube thumbnails, slides and Canva or Figma designs.

Questions

Why is my download not transparent?

Check that Format is PNG or WebP and Background is Transparent. JPG can't store transparency.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The AI model runs inside your browser (WebGPU when available, otherwise WebAssembly). Your images are read and processed on your device and never sent to us or anyone else. Open your browser's network tab and check.

Why does the first image take longer?

The first time, your browser downloads the AI model (about 45 MB, or 115 MB on WebGPU) from the Hugging Face CDN and caches it. After that it starts in a few seconds.
